ALBANIA: IL NUOVO GOVERNO DI BERISHA OTTIENE LA FIDUCIA Italia Written by redazione ilmediterraneo

TIRANA - Il Parlamento albanese, con i soli voti della maggioranza (74), ha dato ieri sera la fiducia al nuovo governo del premier di destra Sali Berisha, riconfermato in carica dopo le elezioni del 28 giugno scorso grazie all'alleanza con il partito di sinistra, il Movimento socialista per l'Integrazione, dell'ex premier Ilir Meta, ora vice premier e ministro degli Esteri nel nuovo esecutivo.

In aula non erano presenti i 65 deputati dell'opposizione socialista guidata dal sindaco di Tirana Edi Rama, che ha condizionato il rientro in Parlamento con una serie di richieste per "poter fare luce sulle gravi deformazioni del processo elettorale".

Oltre all'esecutivo, il Parlamento ha approvato anche il programma di governo, presentato da Berisha.

L'obiettivo principale del nuovo esecutivo, autobattezzato "governo dell'integrazione europea", è quello di "preparare il Paese, entro i prossimi quattro anni, per l'adesione all'Unione europea", ha affermato Berisha, impegnandosi a condurre una serie di riforme economiche e istituzionali, e una lotta senza tregua alla corruzione, alla criminalità organizzata ed ai traffici di esseri umani.

E su quest'ultimo tema, Berisha ha affermato che la moratoria approvata nel 2005, sull'uso di qualsiasi imbarcazione privata, ad eccezione di traghetti e pescherecci, rimarrà in vigore.

Il Kosovo e l'impegno della diplomazia albanese, perché la sua indipendenza venga riconosciuta da molti più Stati, è uno degli obiettivi della politica estera.
